Hotels

Special hotel rates have been arranged for participants at a variety of hotels, both within walking distance of the venue and in the city center. As Stuttgart will experience particularly high visitor demand during the Cannstatter Volksfest and other large events during the same period, hotel availability may be limited and accommodation rates higher than usual. We recommend booking early.

How to Get to Messe Stuttgart

Messe Stuttgart (trade fair center) is very well connected and easy to reach by multiple transport options, including long-distance trains, public transport, car, and air travel due to its location next to Stuttgart Airport.

By Rail & Public Transport

There are direct ICE (Intercity-Express) connections to Stuttgart Main Station (Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof), with frequent train services to and from numerous national and international destinations.

From Stuttgart Main Station, you'll reach Messe Stuttgart within half an hour: two city train lines (S-Bahn) S2 and S3 offer a direct connection to Stuttgart Airport and Fair (Messe). The stop is a few minutes walk to the trade fair center. You can also take the tram line U6, which terminates at the Messepiazza ("Flughafen/Messe", a few minutes walk from the Entrance East) with an additional stop at the Entrance West ("Messe West").

Get your tickets at Deutsche Bahn or Stuttgart's public transport association (VVS).

In addition, you can arrive by bus at the Stuttgart Airport Bus Terminal for regional and long-distance busses.

By Car

By car, the site is conveniently accessible via the A8 and A81 motorways, with good on-site infrastructure for drivers. 6,700 parking spaces are available directly at the trade fair grounds. Additionally, visitors can use the adjoining airport car parks. Further information can be found here.

You can also use one of over 200 Park & Ride facilities in the Stuttgart area and continue your journey by public transport. Further information can be found on the VVS website (available in German only).

By Plane

Thanks to its proximity to Stuttgart Airport, the venue is exceptionally close and can be reached within minutes on foot.
